Job Opportunities

The Friends of the Fells team is a passionate group of educators, community-builders, conservationists, and advocates who make a difference every day in caring for the Fells ecosystems and trails, and programs that educate and inspire people to enjoy and protect our favorite forest.

We hope you’ll consider joining us in bringing to life our vision of a Middlesex Fells Reservation, where nature and people thrive in harmony, supported by a diverse and caring community conserving it for future generations.

We currently have opportunities to join our summer camp staff and also a great career opportunity for full-time work as our Development and Communications Manager.

Fells Forest Camp Counselor

Fells Forest Camp is looking for fun, enthusiastic, creative, and reliable individuals to join our team of dedicated Camp Counselors. This is an ideal opportunity for motivated individuals who care about the environment and who want to make a positive impact on the lives of children.

Counselors at Fells Forest Camp gain valuable leadership experience as they engage children in fun- filled, self-guided explorations of the forest, providing positive and enriching learning opportunities that teach children how to enjoy and care for the woods. With the support and guidance of camp counselors, children develop their curiosity, sense of wonder, and connection with nature. While each camp day is structured, daily group activities are driven by the counselors and campers in the group, and it is their creativity and independent thinking that makes each camp day so fun. As a new team member, you will be fully trained and will work alongside experienced, returning staff as you begin your Fells Forest Camp adventure.
