Middlesex Fells StoryWalk®: It’s Winter

***Update***
We regret to update that the StoryWalk® has been taken down a few days early. While past winter StoryWalks® have been a big success, this year has been so cold the adhesive is not sticking (the wind does not help!). The activities at the kiosk will remain up. Stay tuned for the spring StoryWalk®!

It’s Winter! by Linda Glaser is the next book for our collaborative StoryWalk®. It’s Winter! explores all the fun things you can do in the winter. Learn how to love the cooler temperatures of our winter season! Discover winter animals and what happens to some when they disappear during the cold weather.

The StoryWalk® is a collaboration with the DCR, Friends of Middlesex Fells Reservation, Malden Coordinated Family and Community Engagement, Medford Family Network, North Suburban Child and Family Resource Network, and Mass in Motion. The walk will begin at Greenwood Park, in Stoneham (across from the Stone Zoo), and will continue along the Crystal Springs Trail in an easy, 1/3-mile loop. Foster your child’s connection with nature as well as their literacy skills by participating in our StoryWalk® in the Fells!

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
