Calling all Friends of the Fells! Save the date!
Join us to celebrate 30 years of promoting the conservation, appreciation, and sustainable enjoyment of the Middlesex Fells at Greenwood Park on Sunday, October 15th from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.
All are welcome! Enjoy free family-friendly activities, participate in an eco-friendly community art project, attend a guided hike, volunteer, and meet Friends of the Fells staff and board.
Current Program Schedule:
Please be sure to RSVP to these hikes using the registration links below. This ensures we have enough tools and volunteers to manage each program. All programs will start out of Greenwood Park.
9 am – Bird Watching with the Feminist Bird Club Boston Chapter
11 am – Trail Volunteer Work Opportunity
11 am – Hike ‘n’ Seek
1 pm – Northeast Adventure Loop
1 pm – Early Autumn Hike with Boot Boutwell
1 pm – Eco-Friendly Community Art Project (no RSVP required)
We’ll have light refreshments and live music by the band Split Coconuts , local guitar duo formed by Jim Doran and Garrett Nagle, who play classic rock favorites from the Beatles to Nirvana.
